The machine analysed the bills, questioned the technicians and concluded that an employee named Bernard was responsible for 87 percent of the electricity consumption. Bernard denied everything, which was remarkably bold because Bernard was still holding the switch. The Gundam deployed its wings, raised its rifle and produced such an accurate forecast of the next energy bill that the accounting department immediately requested political asylum. Since 1995, this assembled model has retained its red shield, grey weapon and the appearance of an inspector returning from the dead to collect an unpaid invoice. The colours display some rubbing, dust and handling marks. The model still stands upright, although no original box appears in the supplied photographs.
