Selon certaines sources douteuses, l’Agent Farfouille n’était pas uniquement chargé de maintenir l’ordre dans l’univers de Pif et Hercule. Sa mission principale consistait à enquêter sur les affaires que tous les autres policiers jugeaient trop absurdes pour mériter un formulaire. Un matin, une tarte disparut mystérieusement alors qu’elle refroidissait sur un rebord de fenêtre. Farfouille boucla immédiatement le quartier, interrogea trois pigeons, inspecta une poubelle particulièrement silencieuse et rédigea un rapport de vingt-sept pages. Hercule fut naturellement considéré comme suspect, principalement parce qu’il passait par là et possédait une tête parfaitement adaptée aux interrogatoires inutiles. L’enquête connut un tournant dramatique lorsque des miettes furent découvertes sur l’uniforme de Farfouille. Le dossier fut aussitôt classé pour manque de preuves et excès de crème pâtissière. Depuis 1991, cette figurine conserve sa matraque blanche levée et son air sévère, comme si le coupable pouvait encore revenir réclamer la dernière part. La série Yolanda comprend notamment Pif, Hercule et l’Agent Farfouille, en PVC peint à la main.

Volgens sommige twijfelachtige bronnen was Agent Farfouille niet alleen verantwoordelijk voor de orde in de wereld van Pif en Hercule. Zijn belangrijkste taak bestond uit het onderzoeken van zaken die andere agenten te belachelijk vonden om officieel te registreren. Op een ochtend verdween een taart terwijl die op een vensterbank stond af te koelen. Farfouille sloot onmiddellijk de straat af, ondervroeg drie duiven, inspecteerde een verdacht stille vuilnisbak en schreef een verslag van zevenentwintig pagina’s. Hercule werd vanzelfsprekend als verdachte beschouwd, vooral omdat hij toevallig in de buurt was en een uitstekend gezicht had voor nutteloze verhoren. Het onderzoek nam een dramatische wending toen kruimels op Farfouilles eigen uniform werden gevonden. De zaak werd onmiddellijk gesloten wegens gebrek aan bewijs en een gevaarlijke hoeveelheid banketbakkersroom. Sinds 1991 houdt deze figuur zijn witte knuppel omhoog alsof de dader ieder moment kan terugkeren voor het laatste stuk. According to certain dubious sources, Agent Farfouille was not merely responsible for maintaining order in the world of Pif and Hercule. His main duty involved investigating cases that every other officer considered too ridiculous to deserve official paperwork. One morning, a pie mysteriously vanished while cooling on a windowsill. Farfouille immediately sealed off the street, questioned three pigeons, inspected a suspiciously quiet rubbish bin and produced a twenty-seven-page report. Hercule naturally became the principal suspect, mainly because he happened to be nearby and possessed an ideal face for unnecessary interrogation. The investigation took a dramatic turn when crumbs were discovered on Farfouille’s own uniform. The case was immediately closed because of insufficient evidence and an excessive quantity of pastry cream. Since 1991, this figure has kept its white baton raised and maintained a stern expression, as though the culprit might return for the final slice. Yolanda’s hand-painted PVC series includes Pif, Hercule and Agent Farfouille.

Seine wichtigste Aufgabe bestand darin, Fälle zu untersuchen, die andere Polizisten für zu lächerlich hielten, um dafür ein Formular auszufüllen. Eines Morgens verschwand ein Kuchen, der auf einer Fensterbank abkühlen sollte. Farfouille sperrte sofort die Straße, verhörte drei Tauben, untersuchte eine verdächtig stille Mülltonne und verfasste einen Bericht mit siebenundzwanzig Seiten. Hercule galt selbstverständlich als Hauptverdächtiger, vor allem weil er zufällig in der Nähe war und ein ausgezeichnetes Gesicht für überflüssige Verhöre besaß. Die Ermittlungen nahmen eine dramatische Wendung, als Krümel auf Farfouilles eigener Uniform entdeckt wurden. Der Fall wurde wegen fehlender Beweise und einer gefährlichen Menge Konditorcreme geschlossen. Seit 1991 hält die Figur ihren weißen Schlagstock hoch, als könne der Täter jederzeit zurückkehren. La sua missione principale consisteva nell’investigare sui casi che tutti gli altri poliziotti consideravano troppo assurdi per meritare un modulo ufficiale. Una mattina scomparve misteriosamente una torta lasciata a raffreddare sul davanzale. Farfouille chiuse immediatamente la strada, interrogò tre piccioni, ispezionò un bidone sospettosamente silenzioso e preparò un rapporto di ventisette pagine. Hercule divenne naturalmente il principale sospettato, soprattutto perché passava casualmente nelle vicinanze e possedeva un volto perfetto per gli interrogatori inutili. L’indagine cambiò direzione quando alcune briciole furono scoperte sull’uniforme dello stesso Farfouille. Il caso venne archiviato per mancanza di prove ed eccesso di crema pasticcera. Certa manhã, um bolo desapareceu misteriosamente enquanto arrefecia junto de uma janela. Farfouille fechou imediatamente a rua, interrogou três pombos, inspecionou um caixote do lixo estranhamente silencioso e escreveu um relatório de vinte e sete páginas. Hercule tornou-se naturalmente o principal suspeito, sobretudo porque passava pelo local e possuía um rosto perfeitamente adequado a interrogatórios inúteis. A investigação mudou de rumo quando foram encontradas migalhas no uniforme do próprio Farfouille. O processo foi arquivado por falta de provas e excesso de creme de pasteleiro. Desde 1991, esta figura mantém o bastão branco levantado, como se o culpado pudesse regressar para procurar a última fatia.
